Everything is dark.

I don't know where I am. All I know is, whoever has us down here accidentally left his or her computer down here.

There are many wounded people here, almost everyone was part of the fight.

And they stole the book. The book I had been trying to take from my father, and then my boss. They stole it.

It's dark, and there is only one window. Most of us are tied up, but I think whoever took us was in a rush since I and 3 or 4 other people aren't. They're all still unconscious.

The Mayor was on the news today about some tragedy. Poor guy has had a rough year.

That book is becoming more tempting. Every time I touch it, it gives me this feeling of elation. I have to have it.

The mayor is on the news. I guess his wife has been cheating on him with a Russian or something. I know how he feels, but he's kind of shitty at his job. He takes a lot of interest in making sure the animals of the city are healthy, while we are suffering. Maybe this will bring some perspective.

My boss has this collection of books. Sometimes, I look through them, out of boredom. They're mostly about psychology, and 1 or 2 books on cryptography. He has this one book, though, written in this weird language, that I'm drawn to every day. He's started hiding it, though. I wonder why?

I love my job

Annie, in the cubicle next to me, is always so nice, and my boss gives me everything I need. I've only been here 2 months, but I know I'll work here for the rest of my life.
